การว่าจ้างงานสหรัฐฯ เพิ่ม..พอๆกับการเลิกว่าจ้างงาน
[ 3 มิ.ย. 2025 รอยเตอร์] รายงานการสำรวจตำแหน่งงานเดือนเมษายน (JOLTS) ที่กระทรวงแรงงานสหรัฐเปิดเผยเมื่อวันที่ 3 ระบุว่าจำนวนตำแหน่งงานที่เปิดรับสมัครเพิ่มขึ้น 191,000 ตำแหน่ง รวมเป็นทั้งหมด 7,391,000 ตำแหน่ง แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน ปริมาณการเลิกจ้างงานก็เพิ่มสูงขึ้น ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงการชะลอตัวของตลาดแรงงาน ภายใต้สถานการณ์ที่แนวโน้มเศรษฐกิจเลวร้ายลงเนื่องจากผลกระทบจากภาษีศุลกากร
จำนวนการจ้างงานในเดือนเมษายนเพิ่มขึ้น 169,000 ตำแหน่ง รวมเป็น 5.573 ล้านตำแหน่ง ขณะที่จำนวนการเลิกจ้างงานเพิ่มขึ้น 196,000 ตำแหน่ง รวมเป็น 1.786 ล้านตำแหน่ง
นักเศรษฐศาสตร์ชี้ว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบายการจัดเก็บภาษีสินค้านำเข้าส่งผลให้บริษัทต่าง ๆ ประสบปัญหาในการวางแผนอนาคต
